First class of students from the “2+2” Programme

The DipEd Programme is integrated into the English Major Programme leading to a 4-year (2+2) Programme.  Students who choose to take this route will take both English major courses and DipEd courses in their third and fourth years.  Graduates from this “2+2” Programme will receive a B.A. (Hons) degree in English Language and Literature as well as a government-recognized Diploma in Education.

 

English Major students enrolled on the “2+2” Programme will be subsidized by the Hong Kong Government to participate in an immersion programme in an English-speaking country for eight weeks. The immersion programme is an intensive English training programme with the aim of enhancing our students' understanding of the varieties of English.
