6. Class Attendance
Every student is expected to attend all classes in which s/he has registered. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes. Failing that, students will receive an "F" for the
course. A student who is late for a class by more than 15 minutes may be counted as absent. If students are absent due to conditions beyond their control and wish to establish that fact, a written explanation and supporting documents must be presented to the
course instructor, who in turn will submit them to the Programme Office for retention.
Classes will be suspended in case of typhoon or bad weather. Normally, classes will not be held upon hoisting of typhoon signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Signal. In case of heavy rains, storms or other bad weather conditions, the University will contact the Government Information Services at an appropriate time of the day and make necessary announcements through the local media.
